The reunion of former Candlemass members Leif Edling and Mike Wead was initially planned as a studio project although several shows were eventually performed.
The band was more of a heavy metal entity than Edling's trademark doom past and hence not successful. Edling sooner, rather than later, decided to reform his Candlemass.
