History
The Welsh doom metallers were born in 1991 and were able to parlay
their
reputation into a deal with Shiver Records which released the Solstice
Sadness EP in 1993 after hearing the band's 1992 demo A Sombre Thought.
The demo featured the tracks Ever Sleeping Dawn, Carved In Stone and
Mourn The Dead.
Former Totoise Corpse member Tim Hamill produced the band's demo and
Hymns To The Stone album. Tumuli Shroomaroom translates into 'My
Underground Mushroom Meditation Chamber' according to the band.
Under the banner of the The Celtic Invasion, Acrimony and In Extremis
toured throughout Great Britain.
The band broke up after several compilation appearances, another EP and
a split 7" in 1999.
