History & Biography These Finnish thrashers were formed in 1986, disbanded in 1989 and reappeared in 2007. Kimmo, Pasi Osmo and drummer Jukka Sandberg formed the group. The drummer lasted only one year. Singer Seppo Sandberg also left in one year. Demo 1988 and 1989’s Painful Awakening single were the fruits of this era.
Upon reformation Junnu came back as well. He had been with the band just prior to disbandment. Luckily, the guitarist also owned his own studio where the band could record a new. Finland’s Altars Of Destruction signed a deal with Violent Journey Records in early 2010. The band's album, Gallery Of Pain, was to be released on April 28th. The band was billed for Nummirock Metal Festival 2019 before going back into slumber.
