History & Biography
Behemoth was a Swedish heavy metal band, which unexpectedly was never heard from again. The band hailed from Sundsvall in Eastern Sweden. The Deathwings single was issued in 1982 and re-released in 1984 by Bullet Records. A self-titled demo was last anyone heard of the act. Fritz decamped to England and joined Angel Witch, a collaboration that was cut very short.

Two decades later Nilsson emerged in The Bereaved. Sirre and Roger were back as Deathwings in 2009. The new name was inspired by the band’s 1982 EP name.
