Belenos was formed in 1995 in the north of France and released Notre amour éternel in 1996 that sold roughly 300 copies. Italy's Polyphemus released this tape on CD in 1998. Triste Pensée and Allégorie d'une souffrance followed. Both were released later with different art. the band finally set foot on stage in 1999 as the opener for Marduk and Enthroned in Lille. Sacral is a French label. Only Cellier is an original member.
