Black Breath heaved itself upon this mortal coil, via Seattle, in 2006 and issued a demo the same year. An EP called razor to Oblivion followed in 2008. The band next signed with the decidedly unnorthern label, Southern Lord.

The Seattle death metal band Black Breath had a new album called, Sentenced To Life, out through Southern Lord on March 27th, 2012. As with its debut full-length album Heavy Breathing, Black Breath recorded it at God City Studio with Kurt Ballou and had the finished product mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side.
