History
Chariot was a solid heavy metal band from London which was signed to
and
managed by one Mike Shannon owner of London's heavy metal record store
Shades. Chariot had a good support from the UK press and radio, but
went
nowhere due to a lack of image and overseas promotion. Two band members
went on to play in Charge which was later called Outland and then
renamed again.
Dirty Deeds was managed by Iron Maiden's Steve Harris, but suffered
from
the same challenge as Chariot! Harris eventually let the band go on
without him.
Majestic Records re-released the band's two albums on CD in 2004.
The same year brought an album called What Goes Around which was a
collection of unreleased material destined for album number three. As a
bonus the disc featured a full and unedited Marquee live show.
