Days Of Yore is a fantasy/progressive Canadian band that evolved from a power metal act called Deimos which had itself evolved from the death metal band Forsaken. The band recorded a demo called Imperilled Kingdom and followed it with an independent CD called The mad God's Wage which due to its elaborate packaging is said to have cost the band $30,000 to put together! The band replaces singer Parent ostensibly because he sang way too high-pitched and with a new demo in hand reports obtaining a deal with Metal Blade although there had been earlier interest from Noise. The band also announced plans to leave Canada because of its regressive and anti metal media.
