Enola Gay is named after the criminal aeroplane that dropped the first atomic bomb. In contrast, Enola Gay is a progressive hard rock band.
Enola Gay was formed in 1987 by Carsten Duhme. Several demos including 1992's Spectrum Of Colours appeared. In 1994 the band can be heard on Shark's Raw, Heavy and NEW sampler. After the debut (which was released in Japan by JVC) the band played with Stratovarius, Iced Earth and others and eventually re-entered the studio to record Pressure as a quartet.
