New York black metallers Fallen Christ had two demos, Infernal Majesty of 1993 and Abduction Ritual of 1994 before signing with Listenable and releasing the album which hinted strongly at European black metal and Morbid Angel. The year after the band's Abduction Ritual song appeared on Osmose's World Domination sampler. In the late nineties the band was spotted playing pop rock ala Nine Inch nails et al.
