History & Biography The heavy metal band (Genocide/Genocide Nippon) was founded in Fukui in 1979 and issued a demo called Genocide +001+ in 1983. Genocide was a Japanese heavy metal band with high-pitched vocals. There were roughly 125 bands called Genocide at one time, but someone seems to have pulled a genocide and killed the lot of them. This band occasionally called itself Genocide Nippon. The group split up in 1990 and naturally returned in 1996. Someno Kazuaki rejoined on bass in 2014. Like most Japanese bands, its been busy releasing compilations since. Eternal Evil Spirit was a 2021 compilation. Hibisha Daisuke became the drummer in 2022. The Thrash Fest 2024 featured the band, Doom, Sabbrabells, Jurassic Jade, United, Mein Kampf, Shellshock and more. The group was billed at the Tokyo Doom Fest in 2025. The band was in Tokyo with Muthas Pride in 2025. Genocide Nippon, Blaze, Medved, Red Flows Away, etc. had a 2026 concert called Grind Freaks.
Disappointingly, the band joined a Japanese pop idol for an album in 2015 under the nIo-Destroy banner.
