History & Biography
New Jersey's Headlock was called Last Remains upon formation in 1991 and only changed its name after it inked a deal with Pavement Music. The band had vocalist problems from the start prompting the members to even print shirts proclaiming 'We Hate Singers.' Consequently, the band's bassist and guitarist shared the vocals. The band's demo was called And Then There Were Three.

The album's title came from the song Jaws Of Insanity where a guy admits he can not run any longer and is going insane.
