The German came together in 1998. The band's debut album Edenflow was issued in January, 2001 album which contained a cover of R.E.M.'s Losing My Religion. The band issued demos in 2004 and 2005. The band recruited drummer Raphael "Raf" Kobold (formerly of Absence and Mirrored Mind) in early 2006.
