Another BeNeLux band signed to Shiver Records, Inquisitor was formed in 1992 after demise of the Dutch Desultory and issued the two demos Blasphemous Accusations and Your Pain Will Be Exquisite in rapid fire style. The band’s bassist Alex Bakker was replaced prior to the release of the act’s only album. The band’s cover artwork turned out to be controversial and reportedly censored. Wim turned the band into Centurian in the late ‘90s by which time singer Wesdijk had been turfed due to drug use. One can also hear the band on the Sometimes Death is Better sampler.
