Korpse was an extreme band in the unlikely town of Aberdeen, Scotland. The band first appeared on the scene with the Mauler demo in 1991 and a 1993 single. These garnered the band a contract with the upstart Candlelight Records. The group was dropped and disbanded following Revirgin, which had demonstrated an offbeat change of apce and direction. A sampler of the band’s sampler appeared in 2005 and was called Mirror Distance.
