Montreal’s Kralizec (named after the typhhon in the book Dune) was formed in 1998. The band’s singer, guitarist Orsini and bassist used to be a part of local band Deafness.
The group was signed by the hopeless Portuguese start-up Maquiavel Music after the label heard the band on an Internet radio station. The origin album was completed with a drum machine. Loisel left following the recording and was replaced by a Germain Delarosbil.
