Light Force was a white metal band from Melbourne, which featured Steve Rowe who would go on to form Mortification. The group featured a singer called Phadrah Hirschfield at one point and would be technically described as speed metal. The band’s eponymous demo from 1986 – billed as Lightforce - featured an angel playing a guitar. Two albums were released through Pure Metal before the group moved on, but not before supporting Stryper in 1989. 1990’s Break The Curse demo was later re-released by Steve Rowe as a full-length. Rowe Productions also issued a band sampler later.
