These hot Aussie musicians formed in 1979 and issued a 7” in 1980 called Hindu Gods Of Love. The New York Dolls’ record of the same name probably inspired the band’s monicker. The band abandoned Sydney for Los Angeles where it tried its luck at fame. By 1984, the band had lost keyboardist Harris and switched Bassists. The band would then become Doctor Stone. The group’s reformed for live performances – being now back in Australia - in later years and a live album was also issued.
