The Lord Crucifier was created in 1983, but by 1985 had relocated to the English Midlands in order to find a scene. The group’s first demo tape was issued in 1984 however and was called Cataclism. In the UK the band was joined by Adam who would be a part of Acid Reign.

The band’s debut album was followed by a demo called Who Do You Trust?
