Lotus was a Gothenburg, Sweden melodic hard rock band. The band was formed out of the ashes of Fruitcake. The group managed to recruit former Thin Lizzy and Motörhead guitarist Brian Robertson to tour with it and to subsequently heavily contribute to the third album. Quartet Conspiracy also featured Europe and solo artist John Norum.
The band has had and still does a gravitas affinity for fruits and flora.
