History & Biography
Famed former Ozzy and Slip Of The Tongue era Whitesnake personnel put Manic Eden together upon Whitesnake’s initial withdrawal in 1993. The band was initially meant to be a one-off to record a song for a Randy Rhoads’ tribute album. David Coverdale was working with Jimmy Page in Coverdale-Page at the time. House Of Lords’ James Christian was initially recruited but was soon replaced by Ron Young. The band’s proposed tours never happened and the project was soon abandoned by its founder Vandenberg. The guitarist would, of course, soon work with Whitesnake again. Aldridge had recorded with House Of Lords in 1992 as well.

Vandenberg painted the album’s cover artwork.
