History & Biography
This pomp rock band was founded in Oulu in 1995. Mastervox signed the band and issued its debut in 1999. In the same year the band appeared on a split with Embraze, Black Swan and others. The band next switched to Low Frequency Records. 2005’s Slideshow was an independent recording as was 2007’s Frameworks. Finland's Myon signed a worldwide deal with Rock N Growl Management and Promotion in 2011. Second vocalist Marco Mannermaa joined in 2013. With the release of Vitalworks – which was long ready - the band also shot a video for In The Arms Of Eternity.

Reviews

MYON - GHOST IN PARADISE - MASTERVOX/LOW FREQUENCY
Myon is a Finnish band playing pomp rock sliced three ways. They come across as a mix of Magnum, Dream Theater and Stratovarius. The latter influence is especially audible in the voice of Sami Huotari. The high-pitched voice is also the loudest feature of the mix. This gives particular prominence to his strong accent which at times made this reviewer wonder whether the band is lyricizing in Japanese! Rest assured that the songs are written in English, nevertheless the singing does indeed give a distinct Japanese sound to the listener. Ghost In Paradise is the follow-up to the band's 1998 debut entitled Heaven's Garden and features the same line-up. - Ali "The Metallian"
