History & Biography This death/grind band was founded in 1988 and changed monickers in 1994. The band was influenced by Possessed, Venom and Pestilence. There was a self-titled demo, with Nico Nielen singing, in 1989 and 1991’s Lyrics Of Your Last Will, which sold 600 copies. The band travelled to Denmark to appear on stage. The song In Your Own Hell from Lyrics Of Your Last Will appeared on the And Justice To None sampler. Marco’s Displeased Records issued a split for the band with Consolation (which shared a rehearsal room with Nembrionic Hammerdeath) called Beautyfilth/Tempter. The band toured Switzerland, The Netherlands and Germany with Consolation and At The Gates. The group went back into Beaufort Studio and recorded a 7” EP called Themes On An Occult Theory. It was released at the start of 1993. The band opened for Pestilence in 1993. The band had also played with acts like Consolation, Grave and Confessor.
The band’s monicker referred to powerful embryos, which would smash free of the womb using hammers.
