REIGN OF EREBUS - OF BLACKEST MAGICK - BLACKEND
I am not sure who this Erebus dude is, but that's one bus I won't be jumping on anytime soon. I am not sure why England seems incapable of producing one world class black metal band, but all examples (Cradle of hype, Hecate Enthroned, etc) are nothing but gothy mushy commercially-silly posers with a penchant for ridiculous makeup and K&F folly. Granted this is nothing more than a demo remade as a MCD and the band can sound Sabbat-influenced occasionally, but it is very clear that this bunch prefer to rely on their female member's impersonation of the bitch-in-heat-moaning made famous by the other posers of the genre, rather than any reliance on 'metal'. Can somebody give these wimps a lesson on what 'black' or 'magic' mean, for otherwise this combo will never reign anything. - Ali "The Metallian"
