History & Biography The melodic doom/goth group existed between 1989 and 2002. The name was changed to Fuelblooded then. This follow-up band split up in 2013.
The 1991 rehearsal tape had one original and a couple of cover versions! Demo I came in 1992 and it looked like someone had spilt honey on the tape. The Dutch label Lowland issued an EP called The Dolcinites Were Wrong for the band with two demo songs. Dolcinites was a Middle Ages sect that fought against greed and fat cat clergy. Promo '94 led to the sole full-length in 1995. The album featured a violin, as well as keyboards. Lowland bit the dust then. Demos in 1997 (looked like someone had spilt ketchup on the tape) and 1998 (looked like someone had spilt barbecue sauce on the tape) went nowhere. Demo 2000 featured singer Mark Van Empel, second guitarist Michiel Rutten and bassist Michel Steenbekkers. It was this line-up and guitarist Michiel Rutten, which formed Fuelblooded. The band remarked that the line-up changes had changed its sound and a new name was warranted.
