TERATISM - EX INFERNUS - ROOT OF ALL EVIL
If one could wish any one thing regarding Teratism it would be that they had not used the intro on this MCD. It is grand and profound (and perhaps from the Omen movies?), yet it underlines the weakness in production of the rest of the CD. The contrast is too big. The intro is followed by Resurrection Denied and it soon becomes apparent that the music here exists to accompany the savage and primal vocals. The singer is ferocious as he spits his soul into the microphone. The rest of the band isn't far behind dishing out Blackened death metal with songs like Hate and Children Of Scorn. The band is apparently releasing a full length soon and fans of Necrovore, Profanatica and others can look forward to it.
