WATCHMAKER - KILL.CRUSH.DESTROY - WONDERDRUG
These Boston guys might have picked an odd moniker -there is a literary story behind it- but sure have a 'killer' cover! The image too is oddball. The singer is a baldy with leather and spikes who is sporting a tie. There is much goofiness in Watchmaker and I half suspect the lyrics don't exist. That is, it's all shouted gibberish. So, what is the music like you ask? It's total power. It's akin to being grinded against the wall. It's loud and distorted energy for fans of Converge and other New England noise mongers. Watchmaker features a member of December Wolves (Tim guitars) and comes with a different approach. Hail bulldozing chaos!
